"I started Adkins & Associates with the goal of providing the most thoroughly professional title, land and due diligence services available to the financial, legal, and natural resources industries. I am a proud 6th generation Appalachian who grew up in Eastern Kentucky with both my parents working in the coal, oil, and gas businesess, and have worked with natural resources and in the energy sector most of my life. I would appreciate any opportunity to show you and your company the Adkins & Associates difference and prove why our shop stands head and shoulders above others."

ready to go to work for you

Adkins & Associates Land Services, LLC was founded in 2004 by Richard D. Adkins, CPL, with the goal of providing the most thorough title and abstracting services available to the financial, legal, and natural resource industries. We bring more than 22+ years' experience conducting such research in our coverage areas. Complex Due Diligence related to mergers and A&D are our specialty, just ask the many clients we have helped to effectively mitigate risk and successfully close more than $6.0 Billion USD worth of energy related transactions over the past sixteen years .

Your Area of Interest is our home turf...

Being based in Appalachia from Day One, we have been privileged to be involved with our clients in many of the largest acquisition and due diligence projects in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays from the beginning of both. We also know firsthand the practical realities faced by small, independent operators working in conventional oil and gas fields and we understand and appreciate the differences between the "Mom & Pops" and the larger operators. Presently, we are actively pursuing and managing oil and gas projects in 21 states and have been active in more than 350 counties in the eastern United States in the Appalachian, Illinois and Black Warrior Basins.
